Occupational Certificate: Automotive Motor Mechanic

Purpose of the Qualification

This programme prepares learners to operate as competent Automotive Motor Mechanics capable of:

  • Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle components
  • Working on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electrical systems

Graduates are equipped to meet industry standards set by manufacturers and operate effectively in both traditional and technologically advanced automotive environments.

What You Will Learn

Assessment & Certification

  • An external trade test assessment conducted by an accredited body

Successful candidates will receive a nationally recognised occupational certificate.
