PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
  • Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on petrol and diesel vehicles
  • Dismantle, inspect, assess, repair, and reassemble engine and vehicle components
  • Diagnose and repair faults across vehicle systems using modern diagnostic tools

Work Experience Modules (270 Credits)

Assessment

Internal Assessment
Learners undergo continuous formative assessments through practical and theoretical evaluations.

External Trade Test
To qualify, learners must complete an external summative assessment conducted by an accredited body. This includes:

  • Written evaluation
  • Practical trade test
  • Minimum duration: 3 days

Successful completion leads to certification as a qualified Automotive Motor Mechanic.
